Position: Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Location: Sofia

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, technically savvy and with attention to details professional to join DSK Bank’s Risk Division as Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). As one of the largest and most reputable financial institutions in Bulgaria and part of the OTP Group, DSK Bank is committed to maintain the highest standards of risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance. The Risk Division plays a central role in safeguarding the bank’s stability, ensuring prudent risk-taking, and supporting strategic business decisions through robust risk analysis and oversight.

Executive Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

This position is key to the smooth and efficient functioning of the CRO’s office and involves direct contribution for a wide range of strategic and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the CRO.
  • Act as a primary liaison between the CRO, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up.
  • Prepare and edit high-quality presentations, reports, and documentation (primarily in PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Organize and coordinate internal meetings, calendars, and key deadlines.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and other institutions to support the Risk Division’s operational needs.
  • Maintain and manage confidential records, agendas, and internal documentation.
  • Assist with project tracking, research tasks, and preparation of relevant materials.
  • Ensure all business travel arrangements are managed efficiently and professionally.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities as directed by the CRO or senior leadership.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Legal, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bulgarian.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, “can-do” attitude and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and ethical standards.
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative or technical support role, ideally within a banking or corporate environment.
