Grove Global Consult is a consulting and recruitment agency providing strategic consulting services to the private business sector worldwide. We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer for one of our clients.
Where You Fit In You will join a highly skilled Development Team with a pivotal role in building high-performing and scalable Java-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software aligned with architectural and non-functional requirements
- Lead the implementation of complex software systems following industry standards and best practices
- Mentor and support engineers, fostering continuous learning and professional development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying optimization opportunities across processes and services
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements where applicable
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges using deep knowledge of system architecture and algorithms
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing technical insights and breaking down large initiatives into achievable deliverables
- Coordinate with architecture and operations teams to deliver effective technical solutions while balancing quality and time-to-market
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer
- Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale web applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Experience with JavaScript and modern MVC frameworks such as Angular or React is considered an advantage
- Ability to quickly understand complex workflows and develop innovative technical solutions
- Pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business delivery needs
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
