YOUR ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to join our Brand Marketing Team. The role will be responsible for creating cross-channel social media communication, coming up with creative ideas, and deftly executing them to ultimately grow and engage our social following. This role requires a blend of art and science – we are searching for an original content creator and storyteller, but also familiar with the technicalities of the social platforms and can work with a structured plan and measurable goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Оrganize the production and posting of content on time, following the social media calendar timeline;
• Write engaging copy that presents trending topics, company news, and events in an attractive and engaging manner on social media;
• Write short social media scripts for creating original short-form video content
• Monitor trends, competitors, and leading companies to learn best practices and identify new opportunities for effective social media engagement;
• Manage to research, coordinate and curate news and content promptly from influencers, partners, thought leaders, etc., to increase SiteGround brand voice and awareness;
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Content and Design teams for creating social ‘hype’ regarding new launches and creative campaigns.
• Research industry content creators and influencers and communicate with them for extending our social media presence
• Research new social media trends and hashtags;

​​- Interact proactively and engage directly with SiteGround’s followers to maintain our brand voice and positive image;

• Analyze the performance of our social content and provide insight to the team on a weekly basis;

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Social Media role, preferably in a technology company or Social Media agency, with a proven track record of success;
• An excellent knowledge of social media platforms and the passion to stay current with the changing landscape;
• Ability to develop new ideas, approaches, and ways to be more efficient;
• Adaptability to a quickly changing environment;
• Ability to juggle multiple initiatives with ease and prioritize tasks;
• Great written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Fluent in English.
