About the Role We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT System Administrator to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting our Windows-based infrastructure and applications stack, with a strong focus on systems running .NET applications, PowerShell automation, and MS SQL Server environments. This is a hands-on role that combines systems administration, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support Windows Server infrastructure (physical and virtual).
• Manage deployments and configurations for .NET-based applications in coordination with development teams or external vendors.
• Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, PHP, YAML, etc.) to automate administrative tasks, monitoring, and deployments.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, including backups, performance tuning, and security.
• Ensure system availability, patch management, and proactive issue resolution across the infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal or external teams on system integration, upgrades, and security hardening.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and ongoing systems optimization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT/System Administrator, with a strong Windows background.
• DevOps, IaC and CI/CD practices for SaaS solutions.
• Solid experience with .NET application hosting and basic troubleshooting (IIS, Windows Services, Desktop).
• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft SQL Server (2016+ preferred).
• Containerization and orchestration tools
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, DNS, and certificates.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and documentation habits.
• Strong communication skills – able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders and document processes effectively.
• Proactive problem-solving – anticipating and preventing risks and problems.
• Collaborative mindset – able to closely work with stakeholders, peers, developers, and business users to deliver smooth operations.
• Accountability and ownership – takes responsibility for the systems they manage and follows through on tasks to completion.
