About the Role: As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our client’s cutting-edge platform. Your expertise in automation will be crucial for increasing testing efficiency, accelerating release cycles, and maintaining the high standards of our product. This role is vital for building a robust and scalable testing infrastructure.
About the Role: As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our client’s cutting-edge platform. Your expertise in automation will be crucial for increasing testing efficiency, accelerating release cycles, and maintaining the high standards of our product. This role is vital for building a robust and scalable testing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using appropriate tools (e.g., Laravel Dusk, Selenium, Cypress).
- Develop and implement test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects discovered through automated testing.
- Collaborate with developers and manual QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Maintain and update existing automated test suites as the application evolves.
- Research and evaluate new automation tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
- Specifically focus on automating end-to-end (E2E) tests for Laravel applications and UI tests for Vue.js/Nuxt.js components.
- Participate in code reviews of automated tests and provide feedback to other team members.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in test automation.
- 2+ years of professional experience with at least one of the following: Laravel Dusk, Selenium, Cypress.
- 3+ years of professional experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Docker, Linux and Nginx.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with testing web applications built with PHP/Laravel.
- Experience with testing web applications built with Vue.js/Nuxt.js.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with security testing tools.
- ISTQB certification (or similar).
