Our client is an innovative product company in the crypto and fintech space, building scalable wallet services and real-time trading systems using modern technologies such as Node.js and TypeScript. Operating in the crypto domain requires strong security awareness, performance discipline, and reliability at scale.
About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer with strong interest in crypto and hands-on experience in TypeScript, Playwright, and k6. In this role, you will take ownership of automation and performance testing across a backend-heavy, real-time platform. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality, scalability, and system stability from development to production. This position is ideal for senior engineers who enjoy building automation frameworks, improving processes, and working on complex, high-load systems.

In this role, you will take ownership of automation and performance testing across a backend-heavy, real-time platform. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality, scalability, and system stability from development to production. This position is ideal for senior engineers who enjoy building automation frameworks, improving processes, and working on complex, high-load systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright
- Build and execute performance and load tests using k6
- Test backend APIs and real-time systems in a production-grade environment
- Integrate automated functional and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze defects and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and prevent regressions
- Contribute to improving QA processes and overall engineering quality
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
- Solid experience with Playwright for automation testing
- Practical experience with k6 for performance and load testing
- Experience testing backend systems built with Node.js
- Strong understanding of API testing and asynchronous systems
- Interest or experience in crypto, fintech, or trading platforms
- Ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
