We are constantly growing and expanding our portfolio of products and services and we are now looking for a Head of Accounting Department to join us at our Headquarters in Sofia.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee five teams consisting of accountants, payroll specialists, and controllers.
• Manage all accounting, payroll, controlling, and consolidation functions.
• Ensure the accuracy of daily operational processes.
• Prepare and present management reports and standalone financial statements in compliance with company deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee audit processes and tax-related responsibilities.
• Drive team performance to consistently achieve quality and efficiency standards.
• Reconcile financial data across various systems and sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum of five years of experience in accounting and payroll.
• In-depth understanding of current accounting legislation.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent collaborative skills.
• Familiarity with Omeks and SAP is advantageous.
