What You’ll be Doing: We are seeking a detailed process-oriented Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our P&C Global Services organization, supporting the Bulgaria region. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between P&C GS, Payroll and Operations Delivery, ensuring seamless communication and process alignment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, data analysis capabilities, and excellent communication abilities to support business needs and drive strategic initiatives.
During a Typical Day, you will:
- Oversee payroll administration and timekeeping across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements;
- Manage payroll processes, reporting, and audits with government institutions;
- Advise employees, managers, and HR on labour, tax, and employment law matters;
- Coordinate with external vendors and communicate related requirements internally;
- Prepare and submit statutory and internal employee reports and statistics;
- Train and support payroll team members on payroll administration and related processes;
- Administer employee leave and ensure accurate data submission for payroll processing;
- Uphold company ethics, confidentiality, and data integrity in all activities.
What You Bring to the Role:
- 4+ years of payroll experience (preferably in a complex EMEA country);
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour laws, social security, and tax regulations;
- Proficient in English and Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail;
- Experienced in end-to-end payroll management across multiple countries and pay frequencies;
- Good understanding of HR, Finance, and Operations processes affecting payroll;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with vendors, colleagues, and management;
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive, results-driven mindset;
- Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities;
- Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to research legislation and work independently.
