Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities;
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Bulgarian accounting and tax regulations;
- Review and oversee accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial records;
- Support statutory audits, tax reporting, and other regulatory requirements;
- Maintain strong accounting controls and contribute to process improvements;
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to ensure efficient accounting operations.
Requirements:
- 8–10 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment;
- Proven experience in a role with responsibilities equivalent to Chief Accountant;
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting standards and tax legislation;
- Hands-on experience with financial closing, reporting, and statutory compliance;
- Good command of English (B2 level or higher), both written and spoken;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
