We’re looking for our very first QA tester—someone who can champion quality from day one! You’ll start by manually testing several websites, ensuring top-notch user experiences and stable releases. As we grow, you’ll have the chance to branch into automation testing using tools like Cypress, BrowserStack, Playwright, and Postman for API testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Testing for Websites: Create and execute test plans, test cases, and checklists specifically focused on website functionality, usability, and performance.
• Defect Tracking & Reporting: Identify bugs, file tickets in the tracking tool (e.g., Jira), and collaborate with developers to ensure quick resolution.
• QA Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test steps, data, and results.
• Continuous Improvement: Help establish best practices for QA processes—since you’re our first QA, your input will shape the entire testing culture!
• Pivot to Automation: As you grow in the role, you’ll take on automation tasks using Cypress, BrowserStack, Playwright, and Postman for API testing. We want someone excited to learn and implement modern testing tools and frameworks.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and prevent defects before they occur.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on manual QA testing, ideally focused on web applications or websites.
• Tools & Methodologies: Comfortable using Jira (or other bug-tracking tools), creating test cases, and documenting results. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex site features, identify edge cases, and quickly pinpoint the root cause of bugs.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to report findings, escalate issues, and collaborate across teams.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to testing, from user flows to visual layouts, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Automation Basics: Any exposure to Cypress, BrowserStack, Playwright, or Postman is a big plus.
• API Testing: Familiarity with REST API testing concepts and tooling.
• Continuous Integration: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and how QA fits into the build process.
