With the expansion of our web team, we are looking for a highly-motivated person to join our team as a Web Developer (Wordpress).
Duties and responsibilities
As WordPress Developer your primary responsibility will be developing bespoke WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. You will be taking ownership of the development, testing, and final delivery. As a developer you will be using your experiences to share and communicate best practices in the development team, feeding back to the head of development where you think things can be improved. You will be working closely with designers and other developers to transform designs into unique front-end experiences

Developing pixel-perfect WordPress sites to requirements Designing and implementing new features and functionality Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.

Requirements and qualifications
- You will ideally have 1-2 years+ plus worth of experience delivering commercial websites WordPress development experience
- Good level understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, PHP, CSS3
- Experience with API integrations is a plus
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and / or web applications
- Experience building fully functional websites using WordPress and WooCommerce, custom themes and plugins.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working WordPress pages
- Working level of English
- The ability to understand a written brief and make suitable recommendations
- Able to take instruction well while acting with own initiative
- Passionate about design and development with meticulous attention to detail skills and working to development standards
- A team player with good interpersonal skills
