Proxiad SEE is an IT consulting and software development company, part of Proxiad Group France. We are also the company behind two software solutions for office work â our workplace management software, Desk Buddy, and our performance management software, GROW.

We are currently seeking a Web Developer. Our partner is a major French private higher education platform, specializing in work-study programs across management, digital, and creative fields.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain WordPress back-end and front-end features
• Assess, select, and integrate third-party plugins (security, compatibility, performance, maintainability)
• Develop, maintain, and document custom plugins and Gutenberg blocks
• Improve performance, security, scalability, and caching/CDN strategy
• Contribute to and monitor CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in testing strategy (unit, functional, regression) and ongoing quality practices
• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of WordPress development experience, including complex and/or multisite projects
• Experience with object-oriented PHP and Bedrock
• Front-end integration: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, asset management
• Proven experience with market plugin evaluation and integration
• Custom development: plugins, Gutenberg blocks, ACF
• Experience with SQL and query optimization
• Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
