We are looking for a people-driven, high-integrity, and proactive professional to join our team as an Accounting Operations Manager

The Accounting Operations Manager assumes end-to-end responsibility for the proper execution of the Service Centre Operations for the Accounting Processeses for assigned countries. Responsible for driving continuous improvement, process standardization and realization of efficiency targets in the process field, as well as practicing strong people-driven team leadership.

Primary accountabilities:

• You will hold overall accountability for the effective delivery of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger (Record-to-Report) services within the Shared Service Center.
• Yo will act as the primary coordination point between HUB and country organizations, ensuring clear alignment on scope, responsibilities, expectations, and ways of working across AP, AR, and GL.
• You will ensure stable, high-quality operational performance across all accounting teams, with consistent achievement of agreed SLAs, KPIs, and service expectations.
• You will guide, coach, and support Team Leaders across AP, AR, and GL in managing their teams effectively, with strong focus on:
• people leadership and team attitude,
• work organization and prioritization,
• accountability and ownership,
• collaboration across functions.
• You will ensure timely, accurate, and transparent operational and financial reporting, including performance trends, risks, and improvement actions.
• You will act as a senior escalation point for operational, quality, and stakeholder-related issues, managing both internal (HUB) and external (country) escalations in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
• You will oversee and continuously enhance internal controls, ensuring smooth, compliant, and well-coordinated period-end and year-end closing activities, in close cooperation with country finance teams and Group requirements.
• You will drive standardization, automation, and process simplification across AP, AR, and GL, eliminating non–value-adding activities and supporting continuous improvement.
• Ypu will support transition, go-live, ramp-up, and stabilization phases, ensuring operational readiness, controlled change management, and confidence across HUB and country teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• University degree (BSc/MSc) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance / Accounting operations, preferably within a Shared Service Center, BPO, or multi-entity, multi-country environment.
• Strong accounting knowledge with solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger / Record-to-Report.
• Proven experience leading Team Leaders and senior specialists, with demonstrated ability to develop leadership, structure teams, and drive accountability.
• Strong capability to coordinate across countries, stakeholders, and functions in complex organizational setups.
• Experience with transitions, system implementations, or process transformations is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to set priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Balanced leadership profile: people-oriented and data-driven.
• High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability.
