The responsibilities of Chief Expert Credit Risk Monitoring are:

• Development of asset quality (Thematic Desktop) reviews for Retail and Corporate segment- Conduction of the planning stage of the assigned thematic reviews/ analyses assignments. Preparation of special reports clearly presenting the conclusions and results of the investigative work, underlining identified issues and recommending solutions for risk mitigation. Follow-up on the agreed action plan;
• Monitoring of the proper implementation of the credit approvals as per the credit policy and risk governance;
• Monitoring of asset quality of portfolios in different segments – individual and portfolio basis;
• Establishment of new and regular review and update of the existing monitoring and controlling tools;
• Monitoring on collateral revaluations process;
• Monitoring of ESG roadmap implementation, incl. ESG risk assessment as part of the entire credit assessment process;
• Coordination and execution of special investigation assignments, or any other analyses referring to loan portfolios and processes;
• Liaison with various units within the Bank and building of effective partnerships.

The appropriate candidates must meet the following criteria:

• University degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Statistics and/ or other related discipline;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Monitoring and Controlling Risk Units, Retail or Wholesale Banking, Credit Risk, Credit Policy, Internal Audit, or other related areas;
• Very good command of MS Excel and MS Access and fluent in Bulgarian and English is obligatory;
• Knowledge of credit granting and credit risk process and principles;
• Experience in working with regulations;
• Experience in analyzing credit risk data;
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills, keen on working with numbers;
• Flexibility to effectively function in a fast-paced environment, attention to details and focus on deliverables within strict deadlines;
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
