About the Role: As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and user-friendliness of our cutting-edge platform. Your meticulous attention to detail and thorough testing methodologies will be essential in identifying and preventing defects, contributing directly to a superior user experience. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our product throughout the software development lifecycle.
About the Role: As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and user-friendliness of our cutting-edge platform. Your meticulous attention to detail and thorough testing methodologies will be essential in identifying and preventing defects, contributing directly to a superior user experience. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our product throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
- Perform manual testing of web applications, including functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system (please specify if you have a preference, e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on product quality and usability.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in software quality assurance.
- Participate in the requirements grooming process and provide feedback to ensure high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., black box testing, white box testing, etc.).
- Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray - specify if you have a preference).
- Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla - specify if you have a preference).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with testing web applications built with PHP/Laravel.
- Experience with testing web applications built with Vue.js/Nuxt.js.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Docker, Linux, and Nginx.
- ISTQB certification (or similar).
