We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented API Testing Specialist who is proficient with Postman to join our client's dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of the APIs, collaborating closely with software developers, Project Managers and other QA team members to contributing to the enhancement of the systems functionality.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman Document and report defects found during testing, tracking them through to resolution Analyze and interpret test results, providing feedback and recommendations to the development team Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing test cases and updating them in response to new features or bug fixes Assist with setting up and maintaining test environments for functional and performance testing Collaborate with the other internal teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and effectiveness
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience with Web API testing Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL Database Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and software development lifecycle (SDLC) Experience with version control systems Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset Excellent communication and teamwork skills
