Production Engineer (New Products Industrialization)

With reference to our growing Engineering team we are currently looking for: Production Engineer (New Products Industrialization)

Your job:

Responsible for planning and realization of concepts for industrialization of new products.

Working in an interdisciplinary team being responsible for the process development, implementation of new lines, technologies, and machines under consideration of the related design standards, quality and cost requirements.

Initiates and controls the construction and/or procurement of production and assembly equipment, defines the technical requirements and releases the equipment (including process capability).

Releases requirement and functional specifications for equipment and production concepts.

Plans and designs workstations using appropriate methods (e.g. MTM, EAWS).

Applies guidelines for production-oriented product design and aligns solutions with R&D/ project team. Acts as key partner for R&D for new products industrialization.

Responsible for equipment ramp-up until project finalization.

Plans strategic technological skills with Operations for Novelties according to Roadmap.

Continuously enhances and seeks out methods and tools and actively acquire new knowledge.

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as advantage.

Familiarity with ERP systems ( SAP) is an asset

Very good command of MS Office.

Professional Competencies and Requirements:

Proven expertise and practical experience in Production Engineering or Process Development at least 3 years.

Experience in production/manufacturing environment and especially in industrialization/production of electrical devices or electronics products will be considered as a serious advantage.

Understanding of manufacturing and quality engineering principles and concepts.

Statistical knowledge in basic SPC and engineering experiments.
