Do you have best-in-class communication and organization skills and want to work in the World's largest Food and Beverage Company? We are looking for a experienced dynamic individual, pragmatic team player with a genuine integrity and with desire to achieve, to join our Nestlé Import Export Team in Sofia at the position of Import Export Coordinator.
A day in the life of Import Export Coordinator
- Coordinate Inbound and Outbound Processes: Ensure a compliant, timely, and cost-effective flow of goods, facilitating seamless import and export operations.
- Manage IMS Process Flow: Oversee the development of General Shipping Instructions (GSI) and confirm Product Briefs, ensuring clarity and accuracy in documentation.
- Documentation Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation complies with regulations, guaranteeing timely and precise delivery of goods.
- Obtain Import Permits and Export Licenses: Proactively secure required permits and licenses from government institutions, ensuring compliance within stipulated timelines.
- HS Code Classification: Expertly classify new and existing products using the TARIC system, ensuring adherence to customs regulations.
- Preferential Origin Calculation: Accurately calculate the preferential origin of products, leveraging knowledge of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and associated rules.
- Waste Reduction and Cost Efficiency: Challenge inefficiencies and spearhead initiatives aimed at cost savings and process simplifications.
- Foster Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with local government institutions, service providers, and suppliers to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage Customs Procedures: Oversee authorizations and simplified customs procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Tender Process Preparation: Collaborate with the Procurement team to prepare and implement tender processes smoothly.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Regularly track KPIs, taking corrective actions when deviations or issues arise.
- Performance Metrics: Strive for excellence in customs clearance times, timely arrival of outbound shipments, and cost avoidance through effective use of FTAs.
- Standard Routine Review: Conduct regular reviews of Standard Routines (SR) within the area of responsibility, maintaining full visibility of the end-to-end process.
- You have 3 or more years of relevant experience or role at market/ business environment and University degree (economy, organizatinal science or logistic) with:
- Expertise in Customs legislation (tariff codes, permitted actions with goods, preferential origin)
- Expertise in Foreign trade contracts (Incoterms, CMR convention)
- You are a proactive, service oriented person with strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking and result focus.
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and developed organization skills.
- You have excellent knowledge of Bulgarian and English language, both written and spoken, you are advanced user of MS Office package.
- Experience in SAP would be an advantage.
- You have a knowledge of state, Bulgaria and EU applicable laws and regulations as they relate to Customs; Inspections, other import & export government agencies that regulate international trade of food.
