In order to sustain our growth, we are looking to hire Back-End Developer

Job Summary: The Back-End Developer will play a pivotal role in our product development organization, leading the design and implementation of APIs for standardized data ingestion into our database. This position focuses on developing sophisticated backend logic to seamlessly integrate data between the database and various web and mobile frontend components. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Python, backend architecture, and system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust APIs for standardized data ingestion into the company’s database.
• Architect and implement complex backend logic to facilitate efficient data exchange between the database and web/mobile frontend components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system specifications, and integrate backend solutions into the overall product architecture.
• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in Python, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
• Proactively identify and address system bottlenecks, ensuring the scalability and reliability of backend components.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, codebase, API endpoints, and operational procedures.
• Keep abreast of emerging backend technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and ensure the continuous modernization of the system.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining large-scale backend systems.
• Expertise in Python, with extensive knowledge of its ecosystems, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and managing RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and proficiency in data modeling and database optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to architect scalable and efficient backend solutions, integrating with diverse frontend technologies.
• Solid grasp of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience interfacing with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, with experience in source control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile development environment.
