Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports;
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes;
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analysis;
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure sufficient funds for operations;
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations. Assist with external audits;
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial processes;
- Accounting Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor the accounting team, ensuring efficient operations and development.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of corporate accounting experience preferred;
- Advanced degree in accounting, finance or economics;
- Knowledge of accounting and tax legislation and IFRS;
- Strong experience in the overall organization of the accounting process;
- Fluency in Excel and accounting software;
- Analytical skills and ability to reconcile accounts independently;
- Strong communication skills, responsibility, pro-activeness, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
