For one of our clients, we are looking for a driven, experienced and ambitious professional for the mission of:

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

The Major Responsibilities Include:

• Well - timed and accurate each monthly closing, covering necessary ERPs and accounting ledger reconciliations, accruals & tax estimation process, etc.;
• Lead the accounting department of the company by developing a stable structure of the team;
• Coordinating and conducting month-end and year-end close process in compliance with monthly closing deadlines, i.e. reporting timeline, such as preparations of management report (monthly), cashflow forecast (weekly), other business value added reports;
• Successfully control the revenue recognition and lead on the provision of all accountancy, general ledger, audit and taxation services.
• Financial transactions recorded clearly following IFRS, group accounting and statutory accounting policies and regulations;
• Company’s taxes, regulatory and statutory reports submitted abiding with the set of laws implemented by the state;
• Well-organized and supportive external audit process, with no significant accounting or reporting issues;

Experience, qualification and skills:

• Work experience as a Chief Accountant or similar managerial position for at least 2-3 years;
• Academic education in finance or accounting;
• Excellent knowledge of tax and accounting legislation of Bulgaria and IFRS;
• Proficiency using MS Excel;
• Experience in energy or construction sector is an advantage but not a must;
• Good English languages skills would be an advantage;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
• Punctual, consistent, hard-working, problem-solving, analytical and administrative skills;
