Accountant

What You`ll Do:

· Posting of primary and secondary accounting documents;

· Posting of accruals, deferrals, closure of payments, etc.;

· Prepare accounting entries for revenue recognition;

· Ensures timely and accurate billing by verifying available documentation, correcting errors or informing of them;

· Monitors and reports deviations from payment terms on customer and supplier contracts;

· Daily communication with various departments within the company in order to procure necessary information and in relation to proper performance of duties;

· Reconciling account balances in the trial balance as well as various modules in the ERP system;

· Verifies data accuracy and reports, identifies and corrects inaccuracies;

· Supports timely financial close on a monthly basis;

· Ensures compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations;

· Ensures accurate supporting documentation for each accounting transaction;

· Assists the Chief Accountant during annual financial audits;

· Assists the Chief Accountant in the preparation of VAT and corporate tax returns;

· Prepares various reports upon request by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and movements in the accounting accounts;

· Prepares payment proposals on a weekly basis, prepares payment orders in online banking upon request;

· Post and reconcile bank transactions;

· Communicates with banks in relation to existing bank accounts credit card and foreign exchange transactions;

· Prepares daily reports on bank account balances;

· Participates in the preparation of weekly cash flow reports.

What You Bring:

· Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience and Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or another business-related field;

· Knowledge of general accounting principles, VAT and CIT regulations;

· Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);

· Experience with ERP systems within corporate business environment will be considered as a strong advantage, especially D365 FO;

· Attention to details;

· Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel proficiency;

· Fluency in English.
