Job Description

Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Architect, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure · Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD processes · Manage and optimize cloud-based environments in AWS · Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployments · Orchestrating and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes · Administer and maintain GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines · Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues · Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment · Documents existing processes · Applies good communication skills with team and client interaction.

Qualifications

· Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure · Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools like Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation · Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration · In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Github, Azure DevOps, Teamcity or similar for version control and CI/CD · Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) · Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities · Excellent communication and teamwork skills · Applied experience as lead, mentor and/ or coach would be a pluse.
