For one of our trusted clients, we are looking for an Operational Accountant to join their team in Sofia!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes from an operational standpoint
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Support ERP system implementations or upgrades related to finance functions
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in operational accounting, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
