That's why were partnering with a global technology leader in electromechanical and automation systems to find a General Ledger Accountant for their high-performing Shared Service Center in Sofia.

As a RTR Accountant, you will be a key contributor to accurate financial reporting and compliant accounting operations. You'll work within a structured SSC environment, supporting core Record-to-Report activities, process excellence, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post GL journal entries, accruals, and adjustments;
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies;
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities in line with group timelines;
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of cash receipts and related postings;
• Execute daily control checks to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures;
• Prepare standard and ad-hoc financial reports for internal and external stakeholders;
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Who Were Looking For:

• Deep knowledge of accounting principles with at least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting SSC/BPO structures in General Ledger accounting;
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
• Strong competence in ERP systems, SAP FI/CO;
• Knowledge-sharing mindset with a people-oriented approach;
• Experience in process and procedure transitions is considered a strong advantage;
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English;
• Additional languages such as German, Spanish, or French are a strong advantage.
