This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Product Manager, plays a criticalpart in propelling our development teams forward. Serving as a conduit between various internal departments, you will orchestrate technical analysis discussions and deliver meticulously prepared backlog items for development.

Responsibilities:

• Foster seamless communication and coordination across business units, development, and testing teams
• Define requisites from both a business and customer/user standpoint, while considering intricate technical implementation intricacies
• Craft comprehensive business process designs through the creation of intricate flow diagrams, ensuring comprehensive coverage of requirement process flows
• Demonstrate expertise in generating mockups when user interaction is essential, utilizing tools such as Balsamiq or Figma
• Exhibit proficiency in crafting wireframes/mockups and the ability to create flowcharts/diagrams, employing tools like Visio or draw.io.
• Craft precise requirement documents encompassing mockups, flow charts, functional and non-functional requirements, as well as their impact on the existing system
• Scrutinize software requirements by pinpointing and rectifying system issues, while designing and testing standards and innovative solutions
• Identify application concerns through client interactions, assessing procedures and processes when necessary
• Cultivate solutions by devising and evaluating alternative workflow proposals
• Generate detailed specifications as an integral component of the development team and oversee their faithful implementation
• Meticulously assess and validate outcomes
• Possess competence in writing SQL queries and demonstrate a grasp of Restful APIs

About You:

• Profound comprehension of software architecture, design, documentation, testing, and maintenance
• In-depth expertise in Restful services
• Established track record in Agile software development
• Proficiency in solution documentation, encompassing the creation of intricate flow diagrams and screen/page design flows
• Strong grasp of the Incident Response life cycle, showcasing the ability to work autonomously on software incident investigations and resolutions
• Competency in SQL, substantiated by hands-on experience
• Results-oriented, analytical thinker, and adept problem solver
• Fluent in English

Desirable:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Familiarity with software development, testing, or project management
• Previous involvement in a research environment heavily reliant on Open Source solutions
• Proficiency in multiple OS platforms, with a pronounced emphasis on Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu), Mac OS X, and Windows systems, considered a valuable asset
• Mastery in Java, GUI or Web front-end development, SQL, Postgres, or equivalent database tools
