Financial Analyst

Maxima Bulgaria EOOD is owner of the retail chain T MARKET in Bulgaria with 138 stores across the whole country and more than 2’500 employees. Maxima Bulgaria is also part of Maxima Grupė UAB – a Lithuanian group of retail chain companies operating in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Bulgaria and in 2018 has become the first private company in Lithuania to enter the international capital market, which has successfully placed the biggest-ever issue of bonds by a private company in the Baltics.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our finance team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Participating in the forecasting and in the annual budgeting process

Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting financial data

Assisting in the monthly controlling activities, assuring reporting accuracy through data control

Preparing standard and ad-hoc management reports including variance analysis -compare actuals with forecast and budget

Development of new financial reports.

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting

Previous experience in financial analysis area will be considered as an advantage

Ability to understand financial KPIs and drivers

Ability to work in tight deadlines

Confident user of MS Excel is a must

Analytical skills with attention to details are must

Good communicational skills

Pro-active and self-driven attitude

A very good command of English (both spoken and written) is essential
