DevOps Engineer

Build the foundation that powers DSK Bank’s AI and ML innovation. You’ll be responsible for the infrastructure that enables Data Scientists and Engineers to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions securely and reliably. Your work will directly reduce operational friction, improve Azure security posture, and ensure platforms meet ITSec and IT Audit requirements. By automating infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and maintaining high availability, you’ll enable the entire Innovation & AI Office to move faster while staying compliant—turning infrastructure from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage.

General duties:

Provision, monitor, and maintain Azure infrastructure for ML and AI platforms, ensuring high availability and meeting agreed Service Level Objectives.

Establish and maintain fully auditable and replicable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Improve and maintain Azure security score in accordance with Cloud team requirements; implement security best practices and controls.

Perform regular patching of infrastructure services to meet ITSec and IT Audit requirements; maintain patch management processes and documentation.

Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for ML model serving and AI agent deployment.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and application delivery.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to optimize platform reliability, performance, and cost.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical platform services.

Ensure compliance with Change Management processes; plan and execute changes on time with minimal disruption.

Requirements:

Must have:

3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles.

Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.

Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Computing (VMs, App Services), Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers), Storage, and Security services.

Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or OpenShift clusters.

Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).

Scripting skills in Bash or Python.

Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar).

Understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and audit processes.

Ability to work in on-call rotations and handle production incidents.

Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Experience with ML/AI platform infrastructure or MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow).

Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.

Experience in banking, fintech, or highly regulated industries.

Familiarity with Azure security and compliance frameworks.

Experience with containerization and Docker.

Understanding of networking concepts and service mesh architectures.
