The Southeast Europe (SEE) branch employs 250+ professionals, operates in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and has provided services in various sectors (Healthcare, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, E-commerce and Retail, Procurement, etc.) for over 20 years.
In 2022, we stepped above and introduced two innovative software products: Desk Buddy and GROW.
We have implemented a hybrid work model and offer opportunities for learning, development, and CSR activities, following and incorporating ESG elements.
About the project:
For a French health technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for personalized medicine and digital health, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with Python. By focusing on personalized treatment plans and leveraging AI, our partner contributes to the advancement of precision medicine, helping to address the challenges of traditional healthcare approaches and improving overall patient outcomes.
About the role: You will work as part of cloud management and security team responsible for deploying the client's solution
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.Ensure services meet healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC2).Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong documentation.Collaborate with platform, product, and security teams to deliver reliable solutions.Implement observability, error handling, and logging to support production systems.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliabilityRequirements:
Proven experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM).Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Candidates must hold an AWS certification.3+ years of experience as in Python (REST APIs, microservices, automation).Familiarity with database design and optimization.Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles.Nice to Have:
Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 27001).Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm).Background in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.Benefits:
