As Food & Beverage Sales Manager, you are the contact person for our guests for bookings in our award winning hotel restaurants and bars. You cooperate with the Director of Sales & Marketing, the F&B Manager as well as the Front Office team and you ensure that all guests are aware of our hotel restaurant menus, promotions and upcoming events. Key responsibilities:
- Initiate guest contact before arrival to inform them about the hotel’s culinary highlights and to pre-book restaurant tables.
- Maintain guest contact from the moment of check in onwards and to ensure that all guests are aware of our hotel restaurant menus, promotions, and upcoming events.
- Ensuring F&B revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets
- Detailed knowledge of our F&B products, events, and promotions.
- Detailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel and all relevant facts and figures of hotel.
- Director of Sales & Marketing in defining an annual sales action plan and execute set actions accordingly.
- Document all sales actions.
- Understand, and follow the Company Sales Vision.
- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.
- Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
- High school diploma or a Higher College degree or equivalent in any related field such as Hospitality Management or Tourism Management preferred but not a must.
- At least 2 years of experience in a four/five-star hotel.
- People orientation, problem solving & decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and guest satisfaction orientation.
- Strong management skills and ability to inspire those in others.
- Flexible and results-driven professional.
- English – good oral and written skills. Second foreign language would be considered as an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Opera knowledge would be considered as advantage.
