We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience as a manual QA specialist
- Solid knowledge of the overall software development process, as well as QA methodologies, types of testing, and testing concepts
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, software architecture, and technologies
- Experience in testing various types of applications
- Ability to create estimates
- Familiarity with best practices regarding manual testing
- Ability to anticipate user perspectives and potential scenarios where issues may arise
- Attention to detail and solution-focused approach
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attitude for getting things done on time and with quality
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows OS
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, QC
- Thrive in an Agile software development model
- Good knowledge of data analysis using SQL queries
- Good knowledge of API testing using Postman
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Reviewing the tasks for the day and planning the testing processes accordingly
- Meeting with the development team to clarify any updates or changes
- Designing, executing, and evaluating manual test cases and reporting test results
- Communicating with developers about the nature and severity of identified bugs
- Retesting after bugs have been fixed
- Preparing detailed test reports and communicating the results to stakeholders
- Managing the defect life cycle (reporting, tracking, escalation, verification, regression) through a bug tracking system, ensuring that defects are fixed and documented
- Performing white box, integration, and performance testing on web and Android/iOS platforms
