Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) Location: Sofia, 2-3 days from the office Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role Our client, a company operating in one of the fastest-growing industry sectors, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing and optimizing infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployment pipelines, and maintaining production environments in a highly dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Configure, document, optimize, and support DevOps infrastructure components.
• Design and develop infrastructure architecture to enhance system performance.
• Build automated deployments using configuration management tools.
• Maintain and provide support for Production, Staging, and Development environments.
• Conduct technology evaluations and research to optimize infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and solid networking knowledge.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, ArgoCD, or similar).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Ability to design systems from scratch and integrate components into existing architectures.

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing PostgreSQL and MySQL in production (installation, configuration, backup, restore).
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
