As a Commercial Director, you will lead the hotel’s commercial strategy, driving performance across all revenue streams while creating opportunities that enhance guest experiences and deliver business success.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Own commercial strategy and execution: Develop and implement integrated commercial strategies across all revenue streams — including Group, Conference, and Events (GCE), Rooms, Food and Beverage, Leisure, and Spa — to drive top-line performance and market share growth.
- Maximize revenue and profitability: Partner with General Managers and Finance to ensure commercial decisions support revenue goals, optimize cost of sales, and deliver profit and margin targets.
- Lead pricing and forecasting strategy: Oversee revenue management practices including pricing, rate strategies, demand forecasting, and business reviews to optimize revenue across all segments.
- Align sales and marketing efforts: Coordinate on-property and regional sales, marketing, eCommerce, and public relations activities to support brand positioning and drive demand.
- Adapt to market dynamics: Monitor trends, assess competitive landscape, and adjust commercial strategies to stay ahead in evolving market conditions.
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships: Build trusted relationships with owners, operators, Hilton corporate teams, and external partners to align goals and create long-term commercial value.
- Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs.
