Junior Internal Auditor
DSK Bank is part of OTP Group – one of the leading banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe.
As a leading financial institution in the Bulgarian banking sector DSK Bank offers great opportunities for pro-active and motivated people to work and develop in an international institution striving to constantly improve and implement the best practices in each sphere of its activities.
We are looking for talents, that will become part of this great team as a Junior Internal Auditor
Responsibilities:
Participates in internal audit engagements at the Bank’s Head Office and subsidiaries in accordance with the Internal Audit Department’s methodology and internal regulations
Assists in the preparation and execution of audit programs under the guidance of senior auditors and audit managers
Reviews documents, processes, transactions, and controls to support audit fieldwork and testing activities
Collects, analyzes, and documents audit evidence with due professional care and in line with internal audit standards
Supports the identification of audit findings, risks, and control weaknesses and contributes to drafting audit observations
Participates in meetings and interviews with auditees and maintains professional communication during audit engagements
Assists in the preparation of audit reports and other internal audit documentation
Supports follow-up activities related to audit recommendations and remediation actions
Participates in internal audit research, data analysis, and other department initiatives
Continuously develops knowledge of banking operations, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements
You are the best candidate if you have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration
Up to 2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, compliance, risk, finance, or another relevant area would be considered an advantage
Previous experience in a financial institution would be considered an advantage
Very good oral and written English skills (C1 level)
Interest in internal audit, risk management, governance, and banking processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and writing skills
Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good organizational and time management skills
Proactive attitude and eagerness to develop professionally
