Your Responsibilities
- Support and design the transition from SAP ECC 6.0 EhP7 to S/4HANA in close collaboration with IT Business Partners and external service providers
- Design, administer, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations (including within the Fiori environment), as well as user management
- Own transport and change management processes, including control, implementation, and documentation of SAP transports across the system landscape
- Monitor SAP systems (utilization, performance, and error handling) to ensure stability and reliability
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Manage and support system interfaces (RFC, IDoc, web services, etc.)
- Provide technical support for SAP BTP, C4C, and the Integration Suite
- Support SAP license management activities
- Act as the main point of contact for system-related topics during internal and external audits
- Coordinate and manage services delivered by external hosting partners (e.g., system provisioning, system copies, upgrades, patching)
Your Profile
- Degree in (Business) Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- 8+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant, including at least 4 years working with SAP ECC (either in-house or within a service provider environment)
- Hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration or integration scenarios
- Strong technical understanding of system architecture, databases, and networks
- Solid affinity for IT security, performance optimization, and system stability
- Willingness to learn and work with modern SAP technologies (e.g., BTP, C4C, Integration Suite)
- Structured, independent working style combined with strong teamwork skills
- Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach
- Very good written and spoken English; German is an advantage
