Postbank has over 30-years’ presence as one of the leaders in Bulgaria’s banking sector. The bank is a decisive factor in innovation, in shaping the country’s banking trends in recent years and award-winning for its innovation.
For our DWH and Analytics Department we are currently looking for a motivated: Data Engineering expert
The main responsibilities for the position are: ·Develop statistical models, machine learning and other analytical solutions in the field of risk management (for example, application, behavioral, transactional scoring models as well as parametric – PD, LGD, EAD). ·Develop statistical models, machine learning and other analytical solutions in the Business domain (for example, propensity-to-buy, churn, clients’ segmentation). ·Support the ongoing monitoring and annual review of Bank`s internal models. ·Define indicators, track the quality of model inputs and outputs as well as automate the scoring process. ·Address identified model weaknesses or deficiencies by undertaking timely corrective actions such as re-calibration and model fine-tuning. ·Create algorithms for data flows optimization and automate data flows using T-SQL and algorithms based on python as a generic programming language. ·Provide end users with data visualization dashboards using Power BI.
Our requirements: ·Master University degree in IT, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or other Applied Sciences. ·1+ year of experience in the field of credit risk scoring solutions development or validation, big data modelling, data science, database modelling and administration. Years of experience and qualification will be reflected in the seniority of the expert position. ·Previous experience with big data management, data orchestration tools and/or expertise in cloud-based platforms will be considered a strong advantage. ·Excellent technical skills and advanced usage of Python as a general-purpose programming language. ·Strong knowledge in SQLAlchemy (experience with web frameworks such as Django is a plus) with a focus on ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) for efficient database interactions and enhancement of underlying data infrastructure. ·Familiarity with the ecosystem of external libraries widely used in data science – NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, SciPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch. ·Excellent knowledge of major data science principles. ·Result orientation and time management skills. ·Fluency in English language.
