Responsibilities:
- Audit Leadership: Oversee and manage audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance with Crowe Bulgaria standards, and international best practices. Lead and mentor audit teams, providing direction, technical guidance, and quarterly performance assessments.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with senior client executives, facilitating effective communication and identifying opportunities to offer value-added services in compliance with ISA.
- Quality Assurance and Technical Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations, leading initiatives to enhance quality in Crowe Bulgarias audit services and addressing complex audit challenges as they arise.
- Strategic Planning and Innovation: Work with Crowe management to implement audit strategies and drive the adoption of new technologies for improved audit efficiency and performance.
- Reporting and Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Provide regular updates to Crowe management on client relationships and team performance, along with additional responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Partner.
- Minimum of 10 years in audit, with a strong record of delivering high-quality results;
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian tax legislation;
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant;
- Active CPA membership;
- International accounting and auditing certifications are a plus;
- Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrates exceptional business communication etiquette;
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing tasks effectively;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
