SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Participation in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process;
• Reconciliation and follow up of accounts’ balances;
• Participation and support in the postings for accruals and provisions;
• Providing data and reports to external and internal auditors;
• Support Shared Service Centre with instructions on accounting transactions;
• Preparation and filing of information, data, reports to tax and customs authorities;
• Check-up and review of tax depreciation plans;
• Participation and support to Accounting Manager for reviewing and approving the reports prepared by the Shared Services Center as VAT, VIES, Intrastat, Payroll, other reports for the National Revenue Agency, the National Statistical Institute, the BNB;
• Collection, compilation and processing of data and documentation related to Double Taxation and WHT;
• Collect, compile and process other accounting data and information;

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance;
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Senior Accountant;
• Knowledge of tax legislation – VAT, CITA, PITA;
• Analytical mind-set and accuracy with numbers;
• Advanced Excel;
• Good command in English;
• SAP experience is a big advantage;
• Proficiency of Accounting principles and IFRS is a big advantage.
