Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage invoice processing from receipt through payment execution.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including ownership of dispute resolution.
- Oversee vendor master data and participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and standards.
- Understand and deliver against agreed SLAs and KPIs related to Accounts Payable performance and quality.
- Contribute to the upkeep and continuous optimization of AP processes and documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them meet performance expectations.
- Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving process efficiency.
- Support audit activities by preparing and providing the required documentation and information.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Accounting preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Previous exposure to Accounts Payable processes within a complex and international environment.
- Good understanding of end-to-end AP processes and basic Finance & Accounting principles.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems is considered an advantage (depending on the team).
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Serbian, Croatian, and Italian.
