We are looking for a new team member with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and trends. As a Cloud Support Specialist, you will work closely the company’s own cloud service provider. With services covering the full cloud infrastructure spectrum - from fast deploying virtual machines to S3 compatible object storage. Exoscale provides a simple and scalable experience in order to let its clients focus on their core business.
Your daily routine would include:
- Investigating and troubleshooting complex technical issues;
- Providing root cause analysis and high-quality technical support;
- Working closely with internal teams to reproduce and resolve issues;
- Identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to make our products and services better;
- Contribute to the development and the maintenance of the knowledge base as well as our internal and public documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Linux and CLI;
- Experience using operating systems, Linux systems and virtualization systems;
- Experience with the fundamentals of Network TCP/IP;
- Prior exposure to private and/or public cloud;
- Familiar with KVM virtualization and git:
- Good technical knowledge in building, deploying and maintaining cloud services;
- Experience with problem management and problem-solving;
- Fluency in English (German, Italian or French is a plus).
