Position Highlights:
Observability Architect is a specialized role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems and processes that enable comprehensive visibility into a system's behavior and performance. Consultant ensures that teams can effectively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize complex IT environments by leveraging logs, metrics, traces, and other telemetry data.
Main responsibilities:
- Designing Observability Strategies and High Level Architecture Designs
- Implementing observability pipelines and selecting and integrating tools
- Defining key metrics and alerts
- Ensuring data quality and security
- Design of the Observability Solution
- Selection of tools and technologies, definition of key metrics and KPIs
- Alerting and notification Strategy
- Integration with development and operations
- Data and Implementation
- Data collection and aggregation
- Storage and retention policies, data analysis and visualization
- Documentation and Training
Main requirements:
- Min 8+ years of relevant experience combining different domains – Infrastructure, DB, Network, Application, Security, End-user.
- Strong understanding of observability principles and practices (logs, metrics, traces).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing observability systems.
- Experience with various observability tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Go).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or similar.
