SENIOR FRONT-END DEVELOPER, Digital Banking Department, Sofia
Contribution and key responsibilities:
- Front-end Application Development: Design, code, and maintain high-quality front-end applications primary using React; focus on creating responsive and dynamic user interfaces that interact seamlessly with backend services
- UI/UX Implementation: Transform design concepts into functional and appealing user interfaces; ensure great looking and interactive experience through close collaboration with UI/UX designers
- API Integration: Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality with internal systems, third-party services, and external interfaces
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality, clean, and testable code
- Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, QA, Back-end Developers) to define and design the scope of new features and enhancements
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a stable and efficient user experience
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, RHF and zod or formik
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Vite and Next.js
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles, including media queries, CSS grid and flex, as well as experience with frameworks like TailwindCSS and FluentUI is considered a plus
- A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Architecture or a related field is considered a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing front-end applications, preferably with React
- 3 years of experience in frontend development for custom web applications from concept to launch and beyond
- Demonstrated skills in developing applications using React, including React hooks, state management, and component lifecycle
- Ability to diagnose and resolve front-end issues effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Fluent in English
