Your Role:

• Design, scope, and build scalable and secure features across the platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to shape technical solutions that bring real impact.
• Act as a technical lead for a small team: provide mentorship, review code, and ensure engineering best practices.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with company goals.
• Support onboarding and upskilling of new engineers.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and actively improve the codebase and workflows.
• Drive continuous improvements, propose optimization plans, and monitor key technical metrics.
• Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming in collaboration with the Product Owner.

What makes you stand out:

• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or lead developer role.
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience, ideally using Java, Kafka, micro-services and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Practical experience with code reviews, mentoring, and task delegation.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with stakeholders.

Desired (but not essential):

• Work experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, MySQL or others.
• Background in FinTech or regulated industries.
• Interest or experience in blockchain and the digital assets ecosystem.
• Passion for innovation, scalability, and performance optimization.
