Proxiad SEE is an IT consulting and software development company, part of Proxiad Group France. Operating in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, we employ over 250 professionals skilled in various sectors: healthcare, finance, e-commerce and retail, transport & logistics, and procurement. We are also the company behind two software solutions for office work â our workplace management software, Desk Buddy, and our performance management software, GROW.
We are currently seeking a Web Developer. Our partner is a major French private higher education platform, specializing in work-study programs across management, digital, and creative fields.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain WordPress back-end and front-end features
- Assess, select, and integrate third-party plugins (security, compatibility, performance, maintainability)
- Develop, maintain, and document custom plugins and Gutenberg blocks
- Improve performance, security, scalability, and caching/CDN strategy
- Contribute to and monitor CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in testing strategy (unit, functional, regression) and ongoing quality practices
- Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain clear technical documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of WordPress development experience, including complex and/or multisite projects
- Experience with object-oriented PHP and Bedrock
- Front-end integration: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, asset management
- Proven experience with market plugin evaluation and integration
- Custom development: plugins, Gutenberg blocks, ACF
- Experience with SQL and query optimization
- Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
