This segment continues to grow, further strengthening KREZ’s presence in the furniture and interior solutions market.The heart of our success lies in the dedication of over 350 employees — including consultants, traders, warehouse staff, and administrative professionals — who ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.At KREZ, we believe that business is not a short-distance sprint but a marathon — and we remain committed to sustainable growth, long-term partnerships, and delivering value to every customer.

The role

Do you have an interest in solving commercial challenges? Are you a professional and enthusiastic individual with a proven experience in procurement, supply chain and negotiations? Do you have a university degree in business management, supply chain, entrepreneurship or are you still studying them? If so, we have a great opportunity for you in our Purchasing and Business Development department.

As a Buyer at KREZ, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and collaborate with suppliers to establish strong commercial agreements for goods and services. You will be entrusted with one of the company’s largest and most dynamic departments — the furniture Sector — covering a wide range of home furniture, including entryway units, living room sets, kitchens, upholstered furniture, small pieces, office furnishings, and more.

Day to day, the role will involve:

  • Sourcing of goods and services ensuring the best possible commercial, quality and delivery outcome is obtained for daily purchasing demands.
  • Ensuring orders are placed correctly where contracts or framework agreements are established.
  • Monitoring of compliance with signed agreements, bonus schemes, annual targets, etc.
  • Work with key partners focusing on sustainable procurement in sourcing.
  • Acting as a conduit between suppliers and internal customers to develop strong supplier partnerships.
  • Monitor supplier performance for key spend areas and develop reporting opportunities
  • Liaising with purchasing colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure product availability.
  • Establishing and maintaining supplier agreements.
  • Implementing new ideas and methods and seeking ways to both improve contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhance the reputation of the company.
  • Managing inventory levels to minimize overstock and avoid stockouts.
  • Conducting regular market analysis to stay ahead of trends and competitor activity.
  • Supporting category planning and contributing to budget forecasting and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Using procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP) effectively for data analysis and process automation.
What do you need?

You will have proven experience working as a buyer in a similar role, ideally in DIY industry, especially in furniture segment.

We're looking for an outgoing enthusiastic individual with passion and determination to succeed. You will have strong analytical skills and superb attention to detail. You will enjoy interacting with business stakeholders and suppliers to gain the best outcomes.

The successful Senior Buyer must be:

  • Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
  • An effective communicator.
  • Experienced in the furniture segment with a proven track record.
  • Adaptable and efficient in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Have a can do attitude.
  • Working on processes from start to finish.
  • Have a proven track record of supplier negotiation.
  • Proficient in stock-taking and inventory control.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Able to clearly communicate business needs to both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, articulate, and confident in both verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in using procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of English; additional languages (e.g., Bulgarian) are a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
