Software/System Process Engineer for Automotive Projects
Job Description
The role is in interdisciplinary cooperation of cross-departmental teams in an international environment. As a Software/System Process Engineer your responsibilities will include the following activities:
- Mentor automotive software development teams to reach their quality targets and apply their competences into the processes/methods development and improvements
- Support projects in applying the appropriate processes/tools/methods and assist them in implementing of tailored or pragmatic solutions
- Train project teams on ASPICE and internal processes
- Consult automotive engineering teams in preparation for audits and assessments
- Evaluate process performance using measurements and metrics
- Contribute in the standard processes/tools/methods development of particular divisions
- Act as the link between the processes/tools development departments and the software development projects
- Follow-up and support local tickets or cases related to the processes/methods/tools compliance
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience in automotive software/system development projects or in automotive processes improvement activities
- Deep understanding of the V-Model development process
- Systematic approach and process-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical and methodical problem solving skills
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with several teams simultaneously
- Creative, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Proficiency in English language
- ASPICE experience in taking projects to the next level would be a strong advantage
- Previous experience in Automotive QA or System engineering would be an advantage
- Previous experience as coach, mentor or trainer would be an advantage
- Knowledge in ISO 26262 would be an advantage
- Fluency in German would be considered a plus
