We are currently looking for:

Sales and Marketing Manager, Bulgaria

The Sales and Marketing Manager holds end-to-end accountability for the commercial and marketing performance of the business across Bulgaria. The role is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy across all Dufry Sofia retail operations at Sofia, Varna, and Burgas airports, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and business growth objectives.

This position combines strategic leadership with operational responsibility, including assortment management, supplier partnerships, pricing strategy, budgeting, marketing activities, and team leadership.

You are the right person if you:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field;
• Have at least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial, marketing, category management, or retail leadership role;
• Possess strong experience in commercial strategy, budgeting, and financial performance management;
• Have experience leading and developing teams;
• Demonstrate excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
• Have strong analytical capabilities and business acumen;
• Are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Have experience with SAP or other ERP systems, which will be considered a significant advantage;
• Are able to work effectively in a dynamic international environment;
• Have professional working proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the commercial and marketing strategy for the Bulgarian business in alignment with Group objectives;
• Manage global and local assortments across all retail categories and ensure optimal product performance;
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities;
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and brand partners regarding pricing, commercial terms, promotional activities, and joint investments;
• Manage commercial and marketing budgets and ensure delivery of agreed business targets;
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales performance, profitability, and category results;
• Develop and oversee annual marketing plans, campaigns, loyalty initiatives, and in-store activations;
• Drive the development of digital sales channels and customer engagement initiatives;
• Ensure the integrity and quality of product, pricing, and commercial data within corporate systems, including SAP;
• Collaborate closely with logistics, finance, operations, and regional teams to support overall business objectives;
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the commercial and marketing team;
• Represent the company in relationships with suppliers, partners, airport operators, and industry organizations.
