Our current client is a leading international provider of corporate, fund administration, administrative and accounting services, with a global presence in over 50 jurisdictions and a key office located in Sofia. On their behalf, we are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join their team and contribute to their high-standard service delivery in accounting, payroll, and corporate compliance. If you are curious about this exciting opportunity, then this might be the chance you have been waiting for!
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of the accounting records of Clients in accordance with local regulations;
- Preparation and submission of Client VAT returns and tax returns in accordance with local regulations;
- Registration and communication with the tax authorities in regard to on-going accounting or tax issues of the Client;
- Assisting in preparation of the Client’s financial statements in accordance with their specific requirements;
- Assisting in participating in month end, quarter end and year end closings;
- Maintaining good relations with Clients and identifying their needs and potential issues;
- Working on in-house accounting software and client software as well;
- Issuing sales invoices;
- Preparation of payment orders in client’s portal, processing payment approvals;
- Assisting in VAT recovery procedures;
- Supporting the Team Leads in other tasks.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant discipline;
- At least 2+ years accounting experience
- Excellent command of English;
- Good computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Experience with working on different ERP Systems;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Fast learning person, with a good eye for details;
- High motivation to achieve results and seek solutions.
