Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:
- Identify the issues with the responsible colleagues from the different business areas where Data Science can bring real financial added value
- Work with various data (cash receipt data, Supply-chain-data, customer data, etc.) and modern ML-algorithms to optimize business processes
- Ability to take the responsibility for an interdisciplinary project team and reach the Proof-of-Concept of Analytical Products
- Participate in the implementation of pilot projects, together with the relevant team in demonstrating the functionality of the models in practice
- Can lead junior team members in achieving the project goals and regular reporting and presentation of results to all stakeholders with the IT department

- Completed Bachelor/ Master degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Physics or other relevant specialty
- Excellent knowledge in the introduction of Machine-Learning-methods, optimization methods, Data-mining methods in Python, as well as previous experience with SQL
- Excellent command of English - written and spoken
- Previous working experience as Data Scientist or Data Analyst at least 3 years
- Ability to understand complex case studies, analyze them in detail and present the data obtained appropriately to a non-technical audience
