The companies in the group have active registrations and licenses for various regulated activities - lending, postal money orders, payment services and issuance of electronic money, general insurance, which are issued by the relevant supervisory institutions. ________________________________________ Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and curious Junior/Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our growing Machine Learning department. In this role, you'll support the design and implementation of machine learning models, conduct data analysis, and contribute to projects that directly impact our products and customer experience. • Assist in building, testing, and maintaining predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Work with complex financial datasets to extract insights and support decision-making
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and analysts to understand business needs
• Communicate findings clearly through dashboards, reports, and presentations
• Participate in data validation, quality checks, and continuous model monitoring
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging data science techniques

________________________________________ Qualifications Required:

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in data science or machine learning (internships or academic projects welcome)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms (e.g., Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, etc.)
• Understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization techniques
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• English language proficiency: B2 level
• Bulgarian language proficiency: B2 level

Nice to Have:

• Internship or academic project experience in the machine learning field
• Experience with unstructured data
